Pulsonetti smacked seven hits over the season’s first three games. The New Jersey product batted .636 (7-for-11) during the Hawks’ three-game series at Virginia Commonwealth. He added two runs, an RBI, and a stolen base to help Monmouth win two of three against the CAA member. The veteran outfielder opened his senior campaign by going 4-for-5 with two doubles and one run scored in a 6-1 victory over VCU. He went 2-for-4 at the plate in the second game of the series, driving in his first run of the season. Pulsonetti’s two-out, seventh-inning run-scoring single cut VCU’s lead to one, but the Hawks could get no closer.
