Pelletier produced a 21.9 frame average to spearhead Sacred Heart’s 8-1 effort at the NEC Winter Meet, the second of three regular season meets the conference will sponsor prior to its annual championship tournament. The Pioneers, who hosted the 10-team meet that consisted strictly of baker matches, defeated every NEC team except for defending NCAA champion Fairleigh Dickinson. Pelletier was terrific in that nine-match sample, leaving only seven opens out of 108 frames completed. On her way to a .940 filled frames percentage, the senior southpaw threw a team-high 96 strikes in 177 attempts. Occupying the anchor spot, Pelletier was a key factor in the Pioneers’ 198.7 baker game average throughout the weekend.
