Eberhardt moved up to fifth on the NEC performance list by running the fastest mile of any NEC freshman this season. The rookie miler scored an eighth-place finish at Yale’s Giegengack Invitational, crossing the line in 5:10.58. The time moved Eberhardt in front of Robert Morris rookie Merel Van Steenbergen (5:11.10) heading into this week’s conference championship meet. The first-year Blue Devil has competed in the mile run on four occasions this season and has proceeded to set a seasonal best during each outing.
