Bryant’s Ostrander ruled the pool in Saturday’s 142-128 victory over non-league rival Holy Cross. In the Bulldog’s final tune-up before the NEC Championship, Ostrander recorded four top-two finishes. The Massachusetts native captured first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 58.90, first in the 50-yard freestyle with a blazing 25.14 mark, and second in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:16.95. Ostrander was also part of a 400-yard medley relay team that took the gold with a time of 4:11.35, nearly four seconds faster than the second-place squad. The sophomore enters the conference championship meet as defending NEC Co-Swimmer of the Meet.
