Bridge returns to NEC Field Athlete of Week post she last occupied back in early December. The senior shot putter opened the New Year by winning the Penn State Relays. Her first-place 46-foot heave (14.02m) was 0.25-meter shy of her seasonal best, but far surpassed the qualifying standard for the ECAC Championships. Bridge picked up a bronze medal in the weight throw at Penn State by producing a season-best mark of 15.73m (51’ 7.25”).
