Last year’s NEC Most Outstanding Indoor Track Performer Aaron Radden opened his New Year by sprinting to a pair of first-place finishes at Army’s Carleton Crowell. Radden surged to the top of the NEC performance list in the 200-meter event, blazing past the field at Army by nearly three-quarters of a second. When converted for track size, his winning time of 22.06 shrinks to 21.66. A threat to repeat as the NEC champion in both 200-meter and 60-meter dashes, Radden posted the league’s second-fastest 60-meter time thus far this season at West Point. He clocked in under the qualifying standard for the IC4A Championships, completing the 60-meter race in 6.90s.
