Jean-Louis topped a field of 51 hurdlers and wrestled the NEC Track Athlete of the Week award away from his Sacred Heart teammate Jeremy Rosado. One week after Rosado beat him out for the CTC crown, Jean-Louis returned the favor by setting a program record with his 60-meter hurdles title at the Harvard University Open. Jean-Louis completed the race in 8.01s, a time that stands .01 second better than the Northeast Conference record he set with his first-place finish at last season’s NEC Indoor Championships. Only nine NCAA Division I hurdlers have logged a better time than Jean-Louis this season.
