Langston came off the bench to help spark Quinnipiac to a pair of key non-conference wins last week. He averaged 7.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 1.0 blocks as the Bobcats extended their win streak to three. Though Langston struggled from the field and scored just three points in an 84-78 triumph over Lehigh on Tuesday, he provided a huge lift with 14 rebounds, five assists and a pair of blocks in just 22 minutes of action. The 14 rebounds were a personal-best and the most by a Quinnipiac player this season. Four days later, he scored 12 points, grabbed seven boards and dished out six assists in a 26-minute stint as the Bobcats downed a highly regarded Rhode Island team that reached the Postseason NIT Final Four last season. In Quinnipiac’s decisive 12-0 second-half run against the Rams, Langston scored or assisted on nine of the 12 points (five points, two assists). On the season, Langston is averaging 7.3 ppg, 5.7 rpg and 2.7 apg in a key reserve role for the surging Bobcats.
