Fairleigh Dickinson enjoyed a near-perfect three days on the lanes at St. Paul’s College and Ganjoin was in the middle of it all. The senior southpaw posted a 22.14 frame average over 14 matches, a number that topped all NEC individuals who competed last week. Leading the Knights to 13 consecutive victories before a setback in the Jeannette Lee Invitational Championship Match, Ganjoin left only nine opens and posted a .920 filled frames percentage over the entire weekend. She threw a total of 67 strikes in 120 attempts (.558 strike%). The lefty leadoff posted a tournament-best 229.5 average over six traditional team matches on Saturday, the results of which determined the seeding for Sunday’s championship bracket play. Ganjoin exceeded the 230-pin mark in FDU’s last three traditional matches, including a 269 game in a victory over tournament host St. Paul’s. Prior to receiving Jeannette Lee Invitational MVP honors for her sky-high traditional average, Ganjoin helped FDU to five four-game baker victories during Friday’s NEC-CIAA Challenge.
