The defending NEC indoor shot put champion appeared to be in mid-season form at the Bucknell Bison Opener. Bridge easily claimed first place by putting the shot 14.27m (46’ 10”). The performance ranked 12th nationally through the opening week of the 2010-11 NCAA indoor season. Although shy of the NCAA provisional standard, Bridge’s mark automatically qualifies her for the ECAC Championships slated for March 5-6, 2011. Bridge also took home a bronze medal in the weight throw from Bucknell.
