The defending NEC indoor champion in both throwing events, Elardo put the shot 18.04m (59’ 2.25”) to add another title to his distinguished resume. The mark stands as the nation’s second-best through the opening weekend of competition, sitting only .04 meters DePaul’s Tim Nedow.
