Rutty earns the fourth Choice Hotels NEC Player of the Week award of his career after leading the Bobcats to an 84-75 win over in-state rival Yale in the Connecticut 6 Classic at the Mohegan Sun Arena on Saturday. He posted his 31st career double-double - the most in Quinnipiac’s Division I history and the highest total among active NEC players - with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Rutty, the reigning NEC Player of the Year, hit 9-14 shots from the floor. With the win, the Newburgh, NY native has raised his career totals to 1,177 points and 808 rebounds.
