Santoro looked everything like the two-time All-American she was at Arkansas State the past two seasons. In her first competition since transferring home to her native state of Pennsylvania, Santoro led Kutztown to a 9-1 record and a pair of tournament titles. The Golden Bears posted the highest total pinfall during both the KU Fall Baker Invitational (Oct. 23) and the KU Fall Team Tournament (Oct. 24) and Santoro was a key reason why. Helping Kutztown to its first of two first-place finishes, Santoro posted a meet-high 20.95 baker frame average. She filled 80.0 percent of the 60 frames bowled during the baker competition, while posting a .484 strike percentage. Santoro saw her frame average dip to 19.32 during the traditional team competition, but that number was still good enough to earn her a second All-Tournament Team selection in as many days. Over five traditional team games, four of which resulted in Kutztown victories, Santoro amassed a 966 pinfall for an average (193.2) that ranked sixth amongst all individuals on hand. While completing a total of 108 frames over the two-day span, she accounted for a 20.2 frame average that ranked first amongst all NEC bowlers there.
