Kidd-Kadlubek continued to set up a productive offense for the Pioneers, helping her team notch three straight-set victories over the weekend. The setter, who entered the week ranked 13th nationally for assists per set, racked up 113 total assists over the three-match weekend to boost her season average from 11.36 to 11.58. Kadlubek tallied 35 assists against NJIT, 38 versus Bryant and chipped in a weekend high of 40 in the Pioneers' defeat of Central Connecticut State. In addition to coordinating a formidable Sacred Heart attack, the senior unleashed her other offensive weapons on opposing squads, amassing eight kills, 15 digs, two blocks and five service aces. Kidd-Kadlubek has picked up right where she left off last season, carrying on the dominant ways that earned her 2009 NEC Setter of the Year honors. She already tops the league's assists category with 892 this season, more than 100 ahead of second place.
