McKibben drew into a tie for the league lead in goals (12) after scoring three over the weekend. The three-time adidas/NEC Player of the Week put away game-winners against both Quinnipiac and Central Connecticut State, leading the Flash to critical victories in its hunt for an NEC tournament berth. On Friday, McKibben followed up on a free kick from teammate Haleigh Dunyon to put the first point on the board 25 minutes into the eventual 3-0 win over the Bobcats. Then, she helped set the victory in stone by firing a strategic cross that was deflected by a Bobcat player into her own net. Finally, the forward buried the last point of the game and her 11th of the season on a connection from teammate and NEC assists leader Barbara Maros de Carvalho. McKibben found number 12 in the 3-1 victory over the Blue Devils on an unassisted boot from 20 yards out. During the game, she broke the program record for shots in a season, besting the 77 set by Kristen Arnott in 2000 with 79. McKibben also leads the league in points (33) and ranks second in assists (9).
