Gage produced a number of key plays in Wagner’s 22-16 double-overtime win at Georgetown. In the fourth quarter alone, Gage forced two fumbles and picked off a pass. The senior safety totaled a season-high 11 tackles to lead a defensive effort that limited the host Hoyas to 208 yards of offense. His game-high 3.5 tackles-for-loss were also a season best. With Wagner down 13-10 in the game’s waning minutes, Gage gave his offense one more chance. He dropped Georgetown’s quarterback for a loss of three yards on 2nd down before intercepting the passer on the next play, all with fewer than two minutes remaining. Gage forced fumbles, the second of which was recovered by Wagner at Georgetown’s 40-yard line, on consecutive plays early in the fourth quarter.
