Carroll extended her goal scoring streak to four games and notches her fourth consecutive NEC Rookie of the Week honor as a result. The 5-foot-2 freshman tallied one goal in each of the Hawks’ two tilts against Pennsylvania-based programs last week. Carroll blasted home a shot off a penalty corner in the sixth minute against Temple. Her tally gave the Hawks an early 2-0 advantage in an eventual 5-2 home win over the Atlantic-10 Conference member. The Jersey Shore native struck again in a setback to No. 15 Penn State. Carroll has scored at least one goal in six of her last seven games since September 11, totaling eight tallies during the span.
