DiMichele becomes the third Robert Morris defender in the last four weeks to receive Northeast Conference recognition. His game-high 19 total tackles stifled the Saint Francis offense in a 35-14 road win over the rival Red Flash. The veteran linebacker also made a key interception and logged a quarterback hurry to help RMU remain undefeated in league play. With Saint Francis looking for the game-tying score on a 3rd-and-goal from Robert Morris 8-yard line, DiMichele came up with his first interception of the season to preserve the Colonials’ 14-7 lead heading into halftime. Leading the Colonials to a fourth consecutive victory, three of which have come against NEC members, DiMichele limited the Red Flash to a gain of three yards or fewer on 10 of his tackles. The native Pennsylvanian totaled 1.0 tackles for a loss and six of the 19 total stops resulted in a one-yard gain or less.
