Doscher’s 323 yards of total offense accounted for his highest total thus far this season and lifted the Seahawks to a Northeast Conference victory over Bryant. The sophomore quarterback was 13-of-27 passing for 261 yards and three touchdowns and rushed 12 times for 62 yards. His 62-yard scoring pass to Justin Matthews gave Wagner its first lead at 12-7. After Bryant reclaimed the lead early in the second quarter, Doscher delivered again. This time, the native Staten Islander threw a six-yard scoring strike that put Wagner ahead for good with 3:20 remaining in the opening half. Doscher opened the second-half scoring when he converted a 3rd-and-Goal from the 18-yard line, finding Danny Ford with 4:34 remaining in the third quarter. The weekly honor is the first this year for the preseason all-NEC quarterback.
