Veith clinches her second straight Molten/NEC Player of the Week selection as she put up career-high numbers this past weekend. The junior began by hitting an astounding .688 Saturday to aid the Colonials in their sweep of Bryant. She smacked a match-high 11 kills on just 16 attempts without committing a single error to tie her season high up to that point. Veith also took command at the net, chipping in four blocks. Despite Saturday's impressive standard, Veith managed to top her performance on Sunday against Central Connecticut State. She ran the offense, drilling a career-high, team-high and match-high 19 kills to help Robert Morris to its fourth consecutive victory. The outside hitter's 19 kills came on just 29 attempts as she hit a match-high .552, while again adding four blocks. Veith proves to be a major factor in the Colonials' success on the court as she has hit at least a .420 clip for every match in their four-match victory stand. She has a stretch of eight consecutive matches in which she has hit at least .350. Veith has also reached double-digit kills in three consecutive matches for the first time in her career.
