Lissek was outstanding between the pipes in a pair of Fairleigh Dickinson wins last week. The Highlands Ranch, CO native posted his first career shutout in a 1-0 win over Yale on Friday. He stopped six shots, one of which was a save off a header with less than three minutes to play to preserve the victory. Two days later, Lissek turned away two more shots and allowed a lone penalty kick in a 2-1 victory over a UMBC team ranked 15th in the nation in scoring entering the contest. He lowered his goals against average to 0.94 on the season, the second-best mark in the NEC. Lissek’s .833 save percentage also ranks second in the league.
