Reinold, the 2009 Northeast Conference Rookie of the Year, had a hand in each of FDU’s goals in a 2-0 week for the Knights. On Friday, Reinold took a long throw-in from Kyle Saviano and fired in a left-footed shot into the right corner of the netting in the 72nd minute for the game’s lone goal in a 1-0 shutout of Yale. He also registered assists on a pair of Samson Malijani goals as FDU stopped UMBC, 2-1, on Sunday. His second helper of the game came when he lofted a free kick from the corner, which was headed in by Malijani to give the Knights a 2-0 edge in the 50th minute. Reinold, who hails from Wesseling, Germany, leads the Knights with four goals, three assists and 11 points. He ranks in the NEC top-five in all three categories.
