Devaux-Lovell’s first collegiate victory came over an Ivy Leaguer. The Fairleigh Dickinson freshman dropped his first two matches at the Princeton Invitational, but rebounded to post a win over Yale’s Tommy Ratchford. After coming up short against St. John’s Dustin Goldenberg and Binghamton’s Andreas Danielsson, Devaux-Lovell survived a third-set tiebreaker against Ratchford. He won 7-6 (3), 3-6, 7-6 (2).
