Carroll claims her second consecutive NEC Rookie of the Week award on the heels of Monmouth’s two-win week. Helping the Hawks keep their win streak intact, the Jersey Shore product took 11 shots and scored two goals in games against Lehigh and Rutgers. Carroll fired six shots in a 4-1 triumph over the Mountain Hawks, but could not put one past Lehigh’s goalie tandem of Jess Miller and Lilia Stefaniwsky. Her two tallies two days later were part of a 4-3 victory over cross-state rival Rutgers. After the Scarlet Knights jumped out to a 2-0 lead over the game’s first eight minutes, Carroll put together back-to-back tallies to pull the Hawks even at 2-2. All five of her shots against Rutgers were on goal.
