Alicia Miller made three saves and recorded her second shutout of the year and sixth of her career to help Mount St. Mary’s to 1-0 win over in-state rival Towson. This week's adidas/NEC Defensive Player of the week added five more saves in a 1-1 tie with NJIT on Sunday. Miller, who has played in goal in each of Mountaineer’s seven contests, has made 23 saves and boasts .767 save percentage this season. Her goal tending skills were put to the test this past week as she added 11 saves. Between the pipes, the junior's career saves total rank her fourth all-time for the Mountaineers. Last week, Miller picked up Mount Athlete of the Week honors.
