Playing much like the linebacker who earned all-NEC first team honors in 2008, Totino opened his senior season by making a game-high 13 tackles during a 17-13 victory over cross-state rival Bucknell. He was at the forefront of a defensive effort that limited Bucknell to 178 yards and no offensive touchdowns. Ten of Totino’s stops were of the solo variety as the Pittsburgh native recorded the 16th double-digit tackle performance of his career. Totino, Duquesne’s leading tackler in each of the past two seasons, logged four tackles (three solo) in the fourth quarter to help preserve the lead.
