McKibben earns adidas/NEC Player of the Week distinction in her first weekend back on the pitch after notching three goals in two games. She opened the season by netting a pair of shots, including the game-winner, in a 3-1 decision over Duquesne, and capped the weekend off with an insurance goal for the Flash in Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Youngstown State. McKibben picked up where she left off in 2009 when she recorded two goals in the opening three games before suffering a season-ending injury. Over her five career games, the forward averages one goal per contest and leads the squad with six points this season.
