It was a banner week for Porter inside the circle even given the senior's impressive resume. Against Stony Brook on Wednesday, Porter notched her first no-hitter in two years when she baffled the Seawolves batters all afternoon. Porter tallied six strikeouts in the effort while only allowing two base runners in the 3-0 Long Island victory. The hurler also steadied LIU to a 3-1 win over Bryant in game one of the Blackbirds' doubleheader sweep over the Bulldogs on Saturday while recording six strikeouts. Porter also showed she can win in relief as evidenced by her five inning performance against the Bulldogs in the nightcap. With the Blackbirds down 3-2, Porter was inserted into the contest and shut down BU to the tune of four strikeouts. For the week, Porter set down 18 batters on strikes in 19 innings while going 3-0 with a 0.37 ERA. Also added to her resume is another Akadema/NEC Pitcher of the Week nod, her fourth on the year.
