Weisenberg scored four goals to lead the Bulldogs on the week, including scoring a game-high three goals and adding an assist to lead Bryant to a 9-7 win over No. 11 Yale Saturday night on the road, marking the program's first-ever victory over a nationally ranked opponent since joining the Division I ranks. He added another goal against Holy Cross. Against Yale, Weisenberg recorded his sixth hat trick of the season, all three tallies coming in the first half. The sophomore leading scorer got the Bulldogs on the board just 13 seconds into the contest, picking up the ground ball off the opening faceoff and carrying it down the field to convert on the first shot of the game. He then scored back-to-back goals spanning the first and second periods, the first coming with 16 seconds left on the clock to put BU up for good, 3-2, and the last coming just 1:10 into the second quarter. All three goals were unassisted. The New Yorker also dished out the helper on the goal that opened the third frame while picking up a team-best four ground balls against Yale and a team-high seven ground balls on the week. He also led the team in goals and points, firing five shots, converting four of them for goals. Weisenberg is now a two-time NEC Player of the Week.
