Hrezi climbed up to third place on the Northeast Conference performance list by breaking a 42-year old program record. Besting the entire 800-meter field at the Holy Cross Invitational, Hrezi completed the race in 1:52.45. His time is the fastest by a Blue Devil since Bruce McMahon ran 1:53.30 in 1968. The rookie award is the first for a CCSU freshman since Aaron Radden won two during the last three weeks of indoor season.
