Rinker took medalist honors at the Mount St. Mary's Spring Invitational, leading the Colonials to their first team title since the program's inception for the 2003-04 season. She shot rounds of 80 and 79 before beating teammate Elizabeth Wenger in a playoff. Rinker, who transferred to RMU from Clarion University over winter break, leads the team with an 80.8 stroke average through four rounds this spring. The freshman also took second at a tri-match held at Saint Francis (PA)'s Immergrun Golf Club on Saturday afternoon. This marks her first NEC Women’s Golfer of the Week honor.
