Hoffman added another No. 1 ranking to her diverse distance resume. Competing in the 10,000-meter run for the first time in her four-year collegiate career, the Saint Francis (PA) senior surged to the top of the Northeast Conference performance list by crossing the line in 36:35.70 at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic. Hoffman’s time ranks first amongst NEC leaders by more than one minute and makes the senior an early favorite to win an NEC title in a third distance event. Hoffman pulled off a memorable double victory at the 2009 NEC Championships, taking gold in both the 1500-meter and 5K races.
