Sheaf finally got the monkey off her back, earning her first career win in the second game against Wagner. Allowing only four hits, the freshman sent down four on strikes while giving away no free passes. Going the distance for LIU, Sheaf was economical with only 90 pitches and stifled the WC bats to the tune of 11 flyouts. The Susquehannock, PA native now stands with a 3.06 ERA on the year and earns her first Akadema/NEC Rookie of the Week accolade.
