Pavlovic captures her second NEC rookie award in two weeks time as her singles win streak has reached five matches. The first-year Blackbird posted a trio of straight-set singles victories last week, two at the No. 3 position and one in the top spot, as Long Island rolled to three team wins. Pavlovic dealt NEC rival Sacred Heart’s Elizabeth Harrington a 6-2, 6-2 defeat at the No. 3 spot. She stepped up to No. 1 singles for LIU’s win over Saint Peter’s and took down the Peahens’ Krystal Chen, 6-1, 6-0. Pavlovic capped the undefeated week by beating St. John’s Ece Firat, 6-2, 6-4, as part of the Blackbirds’ 4-3 triumph over the local rival Red Storm.
