Hughes won three singles matches to claim the NEC Player of the Week award and end Merritt Parkway rival Kirill Kasyanov’s four-week reign as the honoree. The Quinnipiac senior won all three matches he contested at No. 2 singles with his lone blemish coming against Harvard in the No. 1 position.
