DeCruise won the 100-meter dash at the Maryland Invitational and retains her Road Runner Sports NEC Women’s Track Athlete of the Week post as a result. She clocked in at 12.19 to best the field of finalists after running a time of 12.07 in the preliminary round. Shaving fifteen-hundredths of a second off her season-opening time from the Wake Forest Open, DeCruise overtook her twin sister, and Mount teammate, Ashley for first place on the NEC leader board. Her prelim time (12.07) also makes her a qualifier for the ECAC Championships.
