McMahon scored a goal and assisted on Bryant's final two tallies - both coming in the last 1:30 of the contest - which got the Bulldogs within a goal of forcing overtime against No. 17 Stony Brook Saturday afternoon. McMahon's goal with 9:45 to play in the third came unassisted, but it was his two assists that completed BU's four-goal run in the final four minutes of the game to bring the score to 8-7 - the highlight of McMahon's stellar performance Saturday. The freshman fired five shots on the day, two of them on goal with the first one scoring and the second ricocheting off the post with 56 seconds left to play. He picked up a trio of ground balls on the day and was one of two Bulldogs to post a multi-point performance. This is his first NEC Rookie of the Week accolade and the second NEC accolade for a Bulldog.
