Pavlovic was as important to Long Island’s successful spring break trip as any. The freshman won both of her No. 3 singles matches last week while pairing with Selma Babic for two victories at No. 1 doubles. She downed Ashlee Thorneycroft, 7-5, 6-0, in a 7-0 shutout of Cal State-Bakersfield. One day later, Pavlovic willed her way past Tayler Pippen of Oral Roberts in a third set super tiebreaker, 6-4, 5-7, 12-10.
