Meyers moved to 2-0 on the season by notching a victory over #16 East Carolina. Starting Monmouth’s 11-9 triumph over the Pirates in the opener of a three-game series, the senior southpaw struck out five batters over 5.0 innings of winning baseball. Meyers worked around three walks and six hits while allowing three runs to a lineup that plates 7.1 runs per contest.
