Kelly totaled eight ground balls, four draw controls and four caused turnovers while adding a goal to earn her first weekly defensive honor of the season. Kelly posted three draws, two caused turnovers and a goal in a 14-12 loss to Fairfield before going for a team season-high seven ground balls, two caused turnovers and a draw in an 18-10 triumph over Bryant in the team's league opener. Kelly has been a standout thus far this season in the neutral zone and was a major factor in preventing Bryant from mounting a second half comeback as Quinnipiac outscored the Bulldogs, 9-3, in the second half. The North Massapequa native is the Bobcats' team leader with 14 ground balls and 11 draw controls, while ranking third with five caused turnovers.
