Womack wins her second straight Choice Hotels NEC Rookie of the Week award, and fourth of the season, after averaging a team-high 15.0 points over a pair of Northeast Conference contests. The 5-foot-7 freshman needed only 19 minutes to score 14 points in a 65-30 win over St. Francis (NY). She hit two early jump shots as the Hawks took a 9-0 lead out of the gate. Womack enjoyed another double-digit scoring effort in a 13-point setback at Long Island. She tallied 16 points, four rebounds, and three assists in 33 minutes of action against the Blackbirds. The rookie guard shot well across the board last week. She went 10-of-21 from the field, including a 4-for-8 clip form downtown, and made all six of her free throw attempts. On the defensive end, Womack added a pair of steals in each of the two games. One of four freshmen who starts for Monmouth, Womack (12.7 ppg) stands tied for first in scoring amongst Northeast Conference rookies.
