Hodges averaged a team-best 22.5 points and 6.0 assists over back-to-back NEC victories that pushed the Red Flash’s conference win percentage above the .500 mark. The 5-foot-6 guard shot 62 percent (18-of-29) from the field as Saint Francis (PA) triumphed over Quinnipiac and Sacred Heart. Hodges poured in 20 points and dished out seven assists in a 78-54 victory over the Bobcats. The NEC’s second leading scorer (17.0 ppg) accounted for eight points during an 20-3 second-half run that saw the Flash go from down two points to up 15. Playing before a NEC-TV audience two days later, Hodges powered the Flash past Sacred Heart by tallying 25 points, five assists, and five rebounds in what was a rematch of the 2009 NEC Championship Game. She scored nine of the Red Flash’s first 12 points of the second half to turn a five-point halftime deficit into a 41-39 lead, needing fewer than four minutes to do so. Hodges made 9 of 12 shots from the field, including both of her three-point attempts, during the 75-69 victory. The Choice Hotels weekly honor is Hodges’ third of the season and first since December 21.
