After Monmouth provided last week’s Road Runner Sports rookie honoree, this week’s award winner hails from the other half of the Garden State rivalry in the form of Fairleigh Dickinson’s Lordess Shabazz. Shabazz won her 400-meter heat at the Lafayette-Rider Winter Games, finishing seventh overall at the meet. Her time is good enough for sixth place on the NEC performance list heading into this weekend’s conference championship.
