Womack put together back-to-back double-digit scoring efforts in leading Monmouth to a pair of victories that allowed the NEC’s youngest team to clinch a berth in the conference’s postseason tournament. The 5-foot-7 freshman averaged 19.5 points and 4.5 rebounds as the Hawks extended their win streak to four games by downing Mount St. Mary’s and Wagner. She scored 16 of her game-high 21 points against the Mount after halftime and added seven rebounds in the 67-51 victory. Leading the Hawks in scoring for the 12th time, Womack scored 18 points on 6-for-12 shooting two days later in a 13-point win over Wagner. One of nine newcomers on Monmouth’s roster, and one of four freshmen in a starting five comprised entirely of underclassmen, Womack (12.5 ppg) ranks second in scoring amongst Northeast Conference rookies.
