On the way to her second Choice Hotels award this season, Womack averaged 20.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists over a pair of Northeast Conference matchups. The freshman guard shot 46 percent from the floor and was responsible for nearly twice as many assists as she was turnovers (9-to-5 A:TO ratio) during the two-game sample. Womack spearheaded Monmouth’s winning effort against Saint Francis (PA) by matching her career high of 25 points. The native Pennsylvanian was at her best during the overtime portion of the 77-74 victory. She scored the first three points of the extra period by sinking a long ball on Monmouth’s first possession, one that began when Womack stole the ball away from the Red Flash’s Britney Hodges. Next time out, in a setback to Robert Morris on NEC-TV, the first-year Hawk came within one rebound of her first career double-double (16 pts. 9 reb.).
