Smith came away from the annual Boston University Quad Meet with a quartet of accomplishments. Her weight throw mark of 17.55m (57’ 7”) won her the meet title while far surpassing the qualifying standard for the ECAC Championships. Eclipsing her previous personal best with the 20lb. weight, Smith’s mark makes her the Northeast Conference’s new event leader and would have been good enough for first place at last year’s NEC Indoor Championships.
