Bridge lifted the lid off January in a big way at the Penn State Relays. The third-year thrower took a commanding lead over the Northeast Conference in the shot put and cracked the Top 5 in the NEC weight throw rankings. Good for second place at Penn State, Bridge’s shot put mark of 14.38m (47’ 2.25”) well surpassed the ECAC Championship qualifying standard and sits 1.00 meter better than the second-best NEC mark. Her weight throw distance of 14.94m (49’ 0.25”) placed fifth at the meet and also ranks her fifth in the NEC.
