Baptiste averaged 22.0 points and 8.5 rebounds last week to lead the Knights to a pair of NEC victories and stretch their win streak to three games. In Thursday's 66-50 win over Bryant, Baptiste recorded his first double-double of the season with 18 points and 11 rebounds, and added a pair of blocks. Two days later in an 83-74 win over CCSU, Baptiste netted 26 points on a season-high 11 field goals and snared six boards as the Knights improved to 3-1 against NEC competition. After FDU battled back from a 10-point second half deficit, the North Brunswick native scored nine points in a six-minute stretch late in the game that allowed the Knights to stretch their lead from three points to ten. Baptiste's team-best 14.8 ppg ranks seventh in the NEC, while his 5.6 rpg lands him 14th on the circuit. He is also the third leading active scorer in the conference with 1,260 career points.
