Villanova proved to be the top pole vaulter at the lid-lifting Navy Invitational. The second-year Mountaineer cleared 4.65m (15’ 3”) to best a field of 12 competitors. Villanova’s height, which currently places him first amongst league leaders, matches the winning mark from last February’s Northeast Conference Indoor Championship meet.
