Bouncing back from an injury-shortened 2008-09 season, Pace powered Robert Morris to a pair of victories last week. The 5-foot-10 guard averaged 16.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in home wins over Akron and Stony Brook. Pace, who led the NEC in field goal percentage (.589) during her last full season (2007-08), shot 57.9% (11-of-19) from the field over her recent two-game sample. She turned in a season-high 19 points, seven rebounds, and four assists in helping RMU top the Zips, 74-67, for its first victory of the season. Pace was called on to play only 25 minutes in the Colonials’ ensuing 61-43 win over the Seawolves, but made her mark by contributing 13 points, six assists, five boards, and two blocked shots to the winning effort.
